What's In This Blog

I created this blog for my journal. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In this blog I keep many of the things I come across as a member of the church. I also share my experiences on the ACE Train and getting to work, my experiences in Manteca where we have lived for three years, and other things I think are noticeable.

Waves of Immigration: Metropolitan Community College Mural: South Omaha Mural Project

This project is on the Metropolitan Community College Campus.  It can be seen from the South Omaha Library and the bridge going from the library to the campus.  It presents numerous scenes of South Omaha, buildings and immigrants.  It incudes the scene of the Greek Town Riot, in which the Greeks were forced out of their homes.  South Omaha was made on the stockyards and the merat packing industry.
