What's In This Blog

I created this blog for my journal. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In this blog I keep many of the things I come across as a member of the church. I also share my experiences on the ACE Train and getting to work, my experiences in Manteca where we have lived for three years, and other things I think are noticeable.

Welcome to Omaha/Bellevue: Memorial Park Memorials

Memorial Park was originally built to give honor to those who served in WWII.  The columns name all those who passed away from Douglas County serving in WWII.  There are memorials to differnt unts of service.

There is also a statue that honors those who served in Viet Nam and Korea.

Life in Manteca: Korean War Mural

The Korean War Mural has now been added to the display at the corner of Yosemite and Main in Manteca.  It probably has been there a while, but I noticed it today.  Sheri's father served in the Korean War.
