What's In This Blog

I created this blog for my journal. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In this blog I keep many of the things I come across as a member of the church. I also share my experiences on the ACE Train and getting to work, my experiences in Manteca where we have lived for three years, and other things I think are noticeable.

Kitty Walker

My cat, (or is he Caleb's cat) Spud, likes to go for walks with me.  I like to call him Spuddy or Spud Muffin, but his name is just Spud.  He usually doesn't like to go as far as I go, so will hang back and wait for me to come back.  He has waiting for quite some time, and I have met him over a block away from the house on my way back.  I like his company.  This picture if at the neighbors around the corner.

Spud Was Waiting to Great Us

Spud was being so affectionate it was hard to get a good shot
Look who wanted some affection when we came home.  Spud wanted in the house, and then he took turns crawling up on Tony and I.  He can be such a good cat.  He was in good hands while we were gone because Miranda stayed home with him.

Bronnie Meets Megan the Rabbit

Bronnie is one.  All of our grandkids are enchanted by Megan.  It is sort of a scary but can't get enough of kind of relationship when they meet her.  Megan is very very soft, even softer than the cat.  However she too gets a little scared around people.  Camberly had a similar experience.
Sheri corrected my presumptions about Bronnie and Megan.  She says Bronnie was not scared, but really liked snuggling her.  In fact he snuggled for some time and was really happy about the whole thing.

Spud Eats Like a Pig

Our cat has really become quite the eater.  He is also becoming a bit more affectionate.  However the best thing we did with Spud was make him an outside cat.  He was just marking everything in the garage and it always smelled bad.
