Christmas Decorations at Lauritzen Garden, Poinsettias, Trains, Luminarias, etc.

 There are lots of neat Christmas decorations at Lauritzen Garden.  There are several different types of poisettias, on poinsettia trees.  There are scrap wood trees, trains, trolls and yule goats.  

Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle

 The most impressive thing about the zoo at Christmas time were the CHristmas displays.  We saw a few animals, but most of my pictures were of displays.  We went there as Ayden wanted to see giraffes for her birthday.  We did find them.  I remember taking giraffe pictures, but none of them are on my phone.  I did get a lion picture though; and lots of birds.  I also remember the penguin display as you enter the zoo but don't have any pictures.

The Christmas decorations are quite impressive.

Our house looks much different this yer, at least the living room.  Sheri has not put out her many creches, but has kept things more simple.  The greatest change is the piano.  The large nativity is not out this year. The room is dominated by the tree.

Christmas 2016: That Is One Darn Big Christmas Tree

Sheri and randy went all out this year and selected a large tree from Home Depot.  They did not want to use our fake tree with one section of lights that don't work.  I must admit, it smells much better.  However the boughs were not strong enough to hold the big ornaments.
