What's In This Blog

I created this blog for my journal. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In this blog I keep many of the things I come across as a member of the church. I also share my experiences on the ACE Train and getting to work, my experiences in Manteca where we have lived for three years, and other things I think are noticeable.

Panguitch Balloon Festival

I don't know who heard about it, but the message went through camp that we were heading to a morning Balloon Festival in Panguitch.  This was a two-day affair, but Charity and kids who didn't go the first doy missed it the second as there was too much wind.  When we got there there were no balloons in the air, and it looked like there were maybe 20 balloons.  However more kept arriving and in the end it seemed there were at least 100.  Out favorites were Smoky Bear and an owl.

Tony and His Turtle

After the temple we went to Country Buffet for lunch.  There was a man there, The Balloon Doctor he called himself.  He made Tony a balloon.  Tony was cute with his Ninja Turtle balloon, even putting him in a seatbelt in the car.  Many people wanted to comment in the airport.  He is still standing, but one hand has lost some air and the sword will no longer stay strait.

Northland Ward Party: Happy 100th Sister Cortez

I wore a mustache for the mariachi reenactment

Chips in your hat, which I won for answering the most trivia questions correctly at our table.  Tony won the Mexican leteria game.

Tony and his balloons.  He had two special ones, and they were great for fighting.  He even put a mustache on one.  However when he put them down to go play, and I couldn't watch them as I was cleaning, the wondered away.  He did bring a couple balloons but not the ones he liked so much.
