Bob Walter's Sports Complex is sponsored by the Bellevue Soccer Club. It is located north of the 370 on 42nd, or south of the Marcus Twin Creeks Theater. I was there for a game a few days ago. It has a nice snack shack which was not active for the game.

I visited a new to me park as the sun was going down. Interesting that the park has a lit trail around it. It has a basketball hoop, playground, historical markers soccer playing area and softball around the corner. It also has a covered picnic area. I did not see a restroom.

We discovered Cascio Pool this week, and went a couple times. It is behind Logan Fontenelle Middle School. The pool is fun, and crowded. Maybe because it is so fun is why it is so crowded. It is also very refreshing with the water on the chilly side. It has a splash pad in the shallow end of the pool. The pool also has two water slides. They sell snacks at the window, popsicles chips and cookies all for $1. The pool i open daily 12-6:45 in the summer. Wednesday it stays open until 8:45 and Sunday until 5:45. Free to Seniors, kids $3 and adults $5. Wading pool is $2.
As for Cascio Park it is mostly just a walking trail from the pool to Cascio road.
Visit to American Heroes Park while Natalia is here this week. This park is in Bellevue. I found the history trail.
Freeman Park is behind the Columban Mission Center. It is very plain but does have a community garden, there is a picnic area next door at the Columban Center. There is a large grassy area. There is also a radar site in the corner.
This is a trail that starts at Two Springs Park in South Bellevue. It follows Whitted Creek.

I visited this park looking for Cold Springs, where members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints stayed in the summer of 1846. This is probably not the place but it is somewhere close and would have been similar. Our ward is called Cold Springs. The park has a playground with climbing wall, covered picnic area and backstop. It is just south of where the two springs start to form Whitted Creek. The Daniell Trail follows the creek.
The Heartland Hills Park is mostly a trail around a small lake. It does have a icnic gazebo and a paved trail, but no other amenities. It is just south of Lewis and Clark Middle School in southwest Bellevue, off of 36th.
Base Lake is apparently on the Offutt Air Force Base. After reading the rules I left. I do not have DOD nor was I a guest. I was able to see jets form the base across the field on my way back to downtown Bellevue.
