**Sheri Has Been Visiting with Grand Babies in California

 With Charity's baby coming early, Miranda and Sheri left last Saturday for California.  I finally coaxed Sheri into sending me some pictures.  She even got to go with Camberly to a baseball game.  Camberly is getting so big.  The only thing she didn't get to do was hold Porter, the new baby as he has been in the hospital and not able to see him with Covid precautions.

Summer Vacation 2019: Two Days in Cedar City

Cedar City presented several amenities, included hotel swimming.  Tony preferred Caleb’s pool as it was indoors.  He practiced corkscrews and several times landed on his back.  I preferred the one of our hotel as it was outdoors.  In addition to the temple, we first met Annie and Caleb at a park.  The entrance to the park was covered, making it hard to find, but the play area was very nice.  I guess it was designed by kids.  I wanted to get a picture of the Francis Webster statue I knew was in town.  Francis Webster was a handcart pioneer who became a prominent member of the community.  Two nights we ate at the All American Diner.  One night with Caleb and Annie; Todd and Hadley, and the other with Ty and Natalia and Ayden.

July Fourth Dinner and Activities

Sheri bought Tony Roma Ribs at Costco which were the center of our feast, which had other fixing, potato salad, baked beans, water melon and corn on the cob.  Sheri and Kayla came over and we had a good time.  They brought their pool and the boys had fun.  The put the slide in the poll.  We then waited for the fireworks.

Our First Family Trip to Pinecrest

Coming home from Calaveras Big Trees we went through Columbia and Sonora and then back up into the mountains for our first family trip to Pinecrest Reservoir.  It was crowded, and parking was limited.  We arrived at about 12:30 on a Thursday.  It is very beautiful, and has a long stretch of beech, so the lake is able to accommodate big crowds.  The water was cold to get into, but after getting in it felt nice and didn't seem that cold.  Sheri and Miranda swam out to the buoys.  I swam a bit, as did Tony.
