What's In This Blog

I created this blog for my journal. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In this blog I keep many of the things I come across as a member of the church. I also share my experiences on the ACE Train and getting to work, my experiences in Manteca where we have lived for three years, and other things I think are noticeable.

Elkhart Park: Riverview Park

This is primarily a baseball park.  There are four diamonds with the backstops together.  There is also a playground.  There is also a skate park.  There are a few picnic tables and lots of trees beyond the ball fields.  River View School is next to the park and it is accessible with more Playground and basketball courts.  There is not a view of the river.  It is about four blocks away.

Welcome to Omaha/Bellevue: Westgate Park

This park lines Pappilion Creek just off the I-80 on 84th street in Omaha.  Interesting that the Westgate ballfields are on the other side of the creek and the freeway.  The park has a swimming pool as well as a trailhead for the trail that follows the creek.  The ball diamonds are softball and baseball.  They appear to be the focal point of some league.
