The mural on Q street and 30th is very interesting. It depicts the South Omaha African American community. It shows Roweena Moore who advocated for African Americans in the workplace, particularly the meat packing plants. She sued for equal pay for women and won her suit. It is on a building that use to be the LaFern Williams South Omaha YMCA and is now the The Simple Foundation.
There are many people in the mural and the South Omaha Mural Project provides a list.
