What's In This Blog

I created this blog for my journal. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In this blog I keep many of the things I come across as a member of the church. I also share my experiences on the ACE Train and getting to work, my experiences in Manteca where we have lived for three years, and other things I think are noticeable.

Burro Creek Campground Is off Highway 93 (to be the new I-11)

We spent a nice night at Burro Creek Campground.  The campground is between the Sonoran and Mohave deserts and has fauna from both deserts.  I wanted to explore more but kept running into fences which went around the campground.  I did see the desert garden and came upon a lizard.

In the Conservatory at Lauritzen Garden

The Conservatory is that area under glass by the main entrance.  It has different types of habitat, including desert. It also has ponds and water features.

We had cholla outside out neighborhood in Kingman.
