Christ and the Rich Young Ruler

When Christ talks about the camel going through the eye of a needle, he is referring to a jerusalem gate, which was very narrow.  For a camel to go through, all of the goods upon its back had to be removed.  Likewise, for a man to enter into the Kingdom of god, he must give up his sins, his pride, and even his riches.
