What's In This Blog

I created this blog for my journal. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In this blog I keep many of the things I come across as a member of the church. I also share my experiences on the ACE Train and getting to work, my experiences in Manteca where we have lived for three years, and other things I think are noticeable.

Views from the Mississippi River Boat Cruise in St. Louis

The river boat trip on thre Mississippi proved to be very fun.  However it was very warm in the sun, so we stayed to the shady side.

I thought this was a train and car bridge; but it is actually two bridges

Looking to Illinois

Bridge owned by commuter transportation with local trains and cars on different levels

Iowa Trip: The Mississippi

The Mississippi is a fascinating river.  It is wider than many lakes, and it is spanned only with difficulty.  Driving from Nauvoo to Carthage you head south along the river, which afforded a great chance to get to know it better.  There are flowers and lilies growing out in the river, and when we stopped we realized the shore was shell lined rather than sand lined.
