I created this blog for my journal. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In this blog I keep many of the things I come across as a member of the church. I also share my experiences on the ACE Train and getting to work, my experiences in Manteca where we have lived for three years, and other things I think are noticeable.

Willa Cather Branch, Omaha Library

 I visited the Willa Cather Library at Center and 42nd for a lecture on Hispanic culture history in Omaha.  I found the library rather plain with no significant artwork.  When I returned I found a couple art pieces in the children's section.  It is a library dedicated to Spanish culture and there are many books in Spanish.





Lecture by José Garcia on the history of Mexican Americans in Omaha.
The lecture was very extensive.
