3/31/26 we traveled to Las Vegas area to spend the night as Tony was taking a plane the next morning. Some apprehension about his traveling alone was unfounded. We stopped at the Visitors Center briefly and took some pictures of the lake from above. The lake was dark because of the wind but it was brighter in the morning. We like Lake Mead camping because it is only $10 with our senior pass. We also often see road runners, and once an owl in our campground. We spent a comfortable night and were off after a few morning pictures of the lake.
