What's In This Blog

I created this blog for my journal. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In this blog I keep many of the things I come across as a member of the church. I also share my experiences on the ACE Train and getting to work, my experiences in Manteca where we have lived for three years, and other things I think are noticeable.

A Midsummer's Mural: Granary Murals in Omaha

Off of the 75 where it crosses the 80, (south of the 80) is a large interesting mural on the granary.  I am not sure what they mean but they are in a Latino neighborhood.  This mural has a Native American theme.  You see two song birds, and star seeds.  There are two trickster horses.  I also see wheat stalks.  The two objects on each end look to me as if the are babies in cradle boards.  The mural is a "celebration of life." Also known as the Song Bird Silo Mural.  Located at Ardent Hills Omaha South Mill, 28th and D streets.
