What's In This Blog

I created this blog for my journal. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In this blog I keep many of the things I come across as a member of the church. I also share my experiences on the ACE Train and getting to work, my experiences in Manteca where we have lived for three years, and other things I think are noticeable.

Welcome to Omaha/Bellevue: Parks: Haworth Park

This park encloses a large campground, Winsor Cove, picnic areas, boat ramp into the Missouri River,  Two softball diamonds with parking, riverside walking and biking trails, a Lewis and Clark Memorial as presented by children, benches to watch the river.  The road that on the map looks like it might go underneath Mission Ave to American Heroes Park does not as it is blacked off.  American Heroes Park is north of the road and Haworth park to the south.  There is also a playground.  This park has river access for boating or fishing.  There is a nice view of the Bellevue Bridge which crosses the Missouri River to Iowa.
