We stopped just long enough for a potty break, but this park was interesting. There were tiles someone had made to decorate the potty. I looked the dancing circle. Tony liked the scorpian but wasn't sure he liked the finger nails.
This face was also very nice.
The park had a plaque by a sequoia tree, and talked of the scoutmaster and troop that had planted it. It also had a memorial garden to those who died in a mining accident. The South shaft of the Utica
Mine collapsed killing14 men. An article I read said they were crushed under the collapsed roof. However the plaque claims three more in the collapse made it out through the South shaft. The park was build over the old mine, the mine being filled in.
