Pulaski Park is a historical location park. It also has a pedestrian bridge going over the Saint Joseph River to Island Park. There is a nice flower garden. It is located where there once was a ford over the river on the Fort Wayne Road which traveled from Chicago to Detroit. Post office established in 1829 and city laid out in 1832. Name of post office changed fro Pulaski to Elkhart in 1839.

Island Park, Elkhart
I have been to Island Park before, taking kids to the playground, and once for some crafts they offered. There are some new things, including disc golf and an exrercise place.

I saw lots of neat stuff in Elkhart this year. I saw the History Museum and the Visitor Center. We also ate at many different locations. It was also very wet. Here are some views.
