Desperado Concert (Eagles Tribute Band) in Laughlin

 O went to a Desperado concert in Laughlin in August 2024.  It was at the Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort.  I have been there before for concerts.  Desperado is an Eagles Tribute Band with the climax of the program being "Desperado".  The song I like best that they covered is "Hotel California".  I also really like "Lyin Eyes."  "Take it to the Limit" may be my favorite of all.  "Heartache Tonight" is also very nice.  The environment for the concert was very nice.  Eagles took a break in 1980 after sinfing through the 70s with six U.S. number one singles and many grammy awards.  However the group has come back together and they were doing a farewell tour when I went to this concert.  At any rate 702 music is the best.

Indianapolis Temple

 I have been to the Indianapolis temple a few times and done baptisms, sealing and endowments.  i really like the way it looks. The only problem is excessive sun through the windows of the sealing room in the summer.  It is all on one story.

Kansas City Temple

While returning from Indiana this summer I made it a point to travel to Kansas City so I could visit the Kansas City Temple.  It is a beautiful temple, inside and out.  It is in the suburbs north of Kansas City.  

Smithfield Temple As of March 28, 2025

 I couldn't drive through Smithfield without a quick detour to see the progres on the new temple.  I can hardly imagine a temple where I went to High School.  And a temple with two steeples no less.  It looks like they are still putting the rock on the sides.
