Great family vacation.  All kids, kids-in-law and grandkids were there and we had a great time.

Jeffery R. Holland - The Last Days

This short video is taken from a conference talk from October 2009.  It was titled Safety for the Soul.    What starts as a discourse on the last days, ends as a powerful testimony of the Book of Mormon.  Holland concludes his talk with:

Brothers and sisters, God always provides safety for the soul, and with the Book of Mormon, He has again done that in our time. Remember this declaration by Jesus Himself: “Whoso treasureth up my word, shall not be deceived”15—and in the last days neither your heart nor your faith will fail you. Of this I earnestly testify in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Eclipse 2017

This was way back in August, and my pictures are poor.  I was trying to take the picture through these crazy glasses. 
I was at work during the eclipse.  Every ten minutes or so I would go out and take a look.  I stopped taking pictures when I realized they were all bad.  Here in the Bay area it was a partial eclipse with the sun having a bite taken out of it on one side, which eventually moved to the other side.  However the light was just weird during the eclipse.  It left me feeling funny. 

I have looked at other videos of those who experienced a full eclipse.  There was much fun that day.  Places where I have lived such as Idaho Falls, ID and Carbondale IL had full eclipses; although clouds disturbed Carbondale's. 

49er Levi Stadium Walk

Even though they have yet to win, the 49ers have a beautiful stadium.  I walk from the train station to the convention center, passing north of the stadium.  Here are pictures form the morning walk to, and evening walk back.
 

Steve Young Statue: Santa Clara

These two statues are across the street from Levi Stadium.  I do not know the story behind this.  Steve young, number 8 and left handed, is throwing to a child, number 50.  My daughter, Natalia caught a Steve Young pass.  The boys also kicked a soccer ball with him.
