What's In This Blog

I created this blog for my journal. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In this blog I keep many of the things I come across as a member of the church. I also share my experiences on the ACE Train and getting to work, my experiences in Manteca where we have lived for three years, and other things I think are noticeable.

Welcome to Kingman: Metcalf Park

Metcalf Park is next to the Lee Williams High School Baseball field and across the street from Locomotive Park.  It is surrounded by tufa stone, and the main entry coming from Beale has a cement stairway.  The entry from Grand Avenue is more street level.  It is unique in that this park has a stage area and hosts musical concerts throughout the year.  It is on land donated by Charles Metcalf.  It has picnic areas and play grounds.  It has restrooms that serve as the restroom for Locomotive Park..  This park has many trees and grassy areas.
