What's In This Blog

I created this blog for my journal. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In this blog I keep many of the things I come across as a member of the church. I also share my experiences on the ACE Train and getting to work, my experiences in Manteca where we have lived for three years, and other things I think are noticeable.

Caleb and Annie Visit

Last weekend Caleb and Annie surprised us with a visit home.  They drove, so ended up staying longer than they had planned, but it was a good visit.  Of course Todd and Hadley were with them.
I first saw them on Saturday when I picked up Caleb to go help move a playground for Jeremy.  I held Hadley, and we saw Todd.  He had been exploring with Grandpa Banks and was upset.  He said he saw something scary.  Turns out it was a bee in the garage.
Jeremy got the playground from the Clarks, and he borrowed a truck and trailer from the nursery in Tracy.  He was getting it from the Clarks.  It was a lot of work, and more than I could have helped Jeremy with so I am glad Caleb was there.  I was all wore out when I was done with it.
Caleb and Annie came over for Sunday dinner and all the local kids and grand babies were there.  That means 8 grand babies.  During dinner I got done early so there was a time I was holding the smallest babies, Owen who is 5 months and Hadley three months.  It was really fun.
We had another dinner with Caleb and Annie on Thursday before they headed back the next day.  It was a short and fun visit; Caleb and Annie really are torn between families, and Annie has a much larger family in the area with siblings and cousins all over the place.  We didn't see them as much as we wanted, but saw them more than none which is what would have happened had they not come.
