Sheri, Miranda and Tony went camping at Calaveras Big trees. They were joined by Kayla, Jeremy and boys for one night. While there, Tony purchased a crystal tree kit at the Visitor Center Store. This is his final results. It grew very quickly.

He got some real neat crystals, especially at the base. I don't know how they added the color, perhaps food coloring in the base. I have read that these are usually salt based crystals with ammonia to help it grow faster. Tony has this displayed on the shelf in his bedroom, where it will hopefully be safe.
