What's In This Blog

I created this blog for my journal. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In this blog I keep many of the things I come across as a member of the church. I also share my experiences on the ACE Train and getting to work, my experiences in Manteca where we have lived for three years, and other things I think are noticeable.

Hummell Park Visitors Center and Hike

This Saturday we did a hike at Hummel Park.  Hummel Park is a city of Omaha park.  It is north of Omaha.  It is just off of Pershing Drive north of the Mormon Bridge.  The hike started and ended at the Nature Center.  I tried to determine how far we went from the map and concluded it was about 1.25 miles.

Hummel Park It is mostly known for youth science day camps during the summer.  Charity says it is really hard to get into the camp due to demand.  However they also have many trails and picnic areas.

On the hike I saw mushrooms.  We also saw the place where they do an annual mud run.  Charity's kids have done this.
