What's In This Blog

I created this blog for my journal. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In this blog I keep many of the things I come across as a member of the church. I also share my experiences on the ACE Train and getting to work, my experiences in Manteca where we have lived for three years, and other things I think are noticeable.

Welcome to Omaha/ Bellevue: Gifford Dr. Park, Riverside Hike

Gifford Drive Park is not a park in the normal sense.  It use to be a road, but is now blocked off to cars by Omaha City but is available for pedestrian and bike travel.  On the map is labeled Gifford Drive Park.  It extends from a block from the zoo to 12th and J streets, or to almost the South Omaha Veterans Memorial Bridge.  The trail/drive is just above the train yard.  Charity, Anthony, the kids and I ventured this way.  The kids rode bikes. The adults walked and pushed the youngest in the stroller.
