What's In This Blog

I created this blog for my journal. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In this blog I keep many of the things I come across as a member of the church. I also share my experiences on the ACE Train and getting to work, my experiences in Manteca where we have lived for three years, and other things I think are noticeable.

Christmas Eve

We had two of our children and their families spend Christmas Eve with us, Charity and Anthony as well as Jeremy and Kayla.  We had a very pleasant evening.  It started with Sheri making rouladen dinner.  This is a German dish made with round steak.  This was followed by our own family presentation of the Christmas story.  This years we featured Jeremy and Kayla and Joseph and Mary with Baby Bronston as Jesus.  Tony and Camberly played the shepherds with Megan (our rabbit) as the sheep.  Anthony and Charity were wise men and Sheri the angel.  I narrated this year.  Skylar played the piano for us.

Nativity

Our evening ended with pajama opening and then a trip to see lights.  We drove around the Woodward Park area and saw many fine displays.  We didn't go too far as we were tired.
