Welcome to Omaha: Dundee Community Garden

 Dundee Community Garden is a small garden on the corner of Underwood and 49th.  Dundee area iis an interesting community, originally a suberb of Omaha and nw annexed into Omaha.  I got a good picture f a monarch butterfly.

Welcome to Omaha/Bellevue: Westgate Park

 This park lines Pappilion Creek just off the I-80 on 84th street in Omaha.  Interesting that the Westgate ballfields are on the other side of the creek and the freeway.  The park has a swimming pool as well as a trailhead for the trail that follows the creek.  The ball diamonds are softball and baseball.  They appear to be the focal point of some league.

Memorial Park Rose Garden

At Memorial Park. behind the large memorial, to the north, is a rose garden.  This reminds me of San Jose Rose Garden though not as big.  It did smell terrific. You drive to the memorial off of Underwood.

Martin Luther King Memorial Omaha

 The Martin Luther King memorial is a at the corner of Lake and 24th in Omaha, just off highway 75.  I can still remember when he was shot, and the great fuss over finding a white mustang.  There is also a mural behind which I think predates the memorial.

Boys Town: Garden of the Bible

 There is a small area dedicated to the Bible between the two chapels called Garden of the Bible.
