Churches of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

 I have been inside three LDS churches in the Omaha area.  This include the Bellevue church where I atten on Sundays, The Papillion church where I attended stake conference, and the branch where Charity attends, which is not a church but the basement of a V.A. clinic that the church rents for their branch.  Miranda attends the singles ward at the institute building by University of Nebraska Omaha.

Where Charity's branch, Field Club, meets off of 10th street in Omaha

Welcome to Omaha/Bellevue: Elmwood Park and Grotto in Omaha

 Elmwood Park is on of the parks included early on in the Beautiful Omaha Plan.  It has many amenities including a pool and a golf course.  Unique to this park is a grotto, which at one time provided drinking water but that is closed off due to health concerns.  It is a beautiful sitting area.  It does have a natural spring.  There is a large pavilion.  It is next to University of Nebraska Omaha so an area of concern is parking as the university students overflow the parking and walk to campus.

Memorial to Charlie Kirk at Memorial Park, Omaha

 I was at Memorial Park and someone had drawn a Charlie Kirk memory with chalk.  I wonder if it lasted through last night's rain storm.

Welcome to Omaha/Bellevue: Memorial Park Memorials

 Memorial Park was originally built to give honor to those who served in WWII.  The columns name all those who passed away from Douglas County serving in WWII.  There are memorials to differnt unts of service.

There is also a statue that honors those who served in Viet Nam and Korea.
