Traveling to see Natalia we stopped by Mount Rushmore. It is quite the sight. Omaha has a tie to Mount Rushmore because an art collector from Omaha, George Washington Lininger financed the European education of Gutzon Borglum, the man who sculpted Mount Rushmore.
We visited the Visitor Center museum and learned that the current configuration of the presidents isn't as originally planned. The rock face wouldn't hold so Thomas Jefferson was moved to the other side of George Washington and squeezed in.
The parade of flags was interesting. The Utah flag has changed to some wimpy kind of flag which I don't really like.
