What's In This Blog

I created this blog for my journal. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In this blog I keep many of the things I come across as a member of the church. I also share my experiences on the ACE Train and getting to work, my experiences in Manteca where we have lived for three years, and other things I think are noticeable.

Port Orchard Southworth to Seattle Ferry on the Puget Sound

When we were in Port Orchard for Ayden's baptism we visited the zoo just before January 1.  The ferry ride afforded some nice views.  We saw Blake Island and Vashon Island.  When we were in the sound clear of the islands we had a nice view of Mount Rainier which was many miles away.

Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle

The most impressive thing about the zoo at Christmas time were the CHristmas displays.  We saw a few animals, but most of my pictures were of displays.  We went there as Ayden wanted to see giraffes for her birthday.  We did find them.  I remember taking giraffe pictures, but none of them are on my phone.  I did get a lion picture though; and lots of birds.  I also remember the penguin display as you enter the zoo but don't have any pictures.

The Christmas decorations are quite impressive.

The Albuquerque, New Mexico Temple

This temple is located in north Albuquerque.  It is very beautiful.  Important work is being done here.  The first two pictures are from the arking lot on the way in and the last from a church parking lot across the street.

Monticello Temple

Denver Temple

This is my first time attending the Denver Temple.  It was a fun experience.  When I got there, there were hundreds of youth serving to beautify the grounds.  They were weeding and planting flowers.
